Volunteer at Treefest 2020 and get in for FREE!

We have a whopping 6,500 trees to plant at Treefest 2020, including 750 metres of native hedgerow and 1.5 hectares of new woodland! So we are aiming to devote Friday 31st January to planting the hedge. We are looking to recruit 50 Tree Champions, each prepared to plant 100 trees that day. On Saturday the Tree Champions will act as mentors to inexperienced tree planters and guide them in planting the woodland.

Are you a Tree Champion?

We are looking for 50 special volunteers to help us plant 5,000 trees….in one day!!

Ideally, you need to be:

Prepared to work outside all day – whatever the weather! (there will be shelter for meal times).

Able to plant around 80-100 trees on the day – that’s 15-20 per hour!

Willing to show/help inexperienced planters how to plant trees on Saturday 1st February.
